Maxplay products carry extensive guarantees & are manufactured in compliance with European Standards. Our products also conform with strict commercial & educational standards. These standards & certifications are your guarantee to Maxplay's dedication to safety.
All Maxplay products carry a 10 year guarantee against timber rot, decay & infestation. Additionally, there is a 1 year guarantee against faulty materials & workmanship.
However, as timber is a natural product, surface cracks & shakes can occur & knots may change in appearance; these will not affect the structural integrity of the product & are excluded from the warranty.
Specifications
We only use the best quality timber, fixtures, fittings & accessories in our commercial product range. Safety is of paramount importance; our products are designed & manufactured in accordance with BS EN1176 & are CE certified.
Timber used in our process is joinery grade, large cross section Scandinavian Redwood from ecologically well managed forests. Water based, pressure treated for lasting protection against rot, infestation & the elements, there is no need to further treat the timber.
All timber has a smooth planed finish with 'eased' corners.
Fixings are counter bored & capped to provide a safe play surface.
Play platforms are manufactured from slip resistant material.
Steel braided 'armed rope' is used to manufacture scramble nets & rope assemblies.
All fixings are either hot dip galvanised or stainless steel. Other metal parts are powder coated.
