My daughters love to climb and trips to the playground can be fraught affairs as a result. This is mainly because my two year old thinks that she is older than she is and insists that she can do everything for herself. Luckily our local park has wooden climbing frames with protective surfaces underneath them to stop injuries occurring in the case of fall. I`ve lost count of the amount of times my eldest has asked for a climbing frame of her own. Such is the insistence that I have even looked online to see what frames there are available. One site in particular captivated my imagination because they were a family run business that produced climbing frames that looked fantastic. These products are intended not only for fun but they can help a child develop much needed skills such as balance, physical agility, imaginative play and of course, socialising. I can imagine my daughters spending hours on one of these climbing frames and all of their friends could join in the fun as well. Once ordered the frames can be delivered to the home within 10 working days which is very impressive when you think of the workmanship that must go into each individual item.
Although it seems like it`s been raining for most of the year there are plenty of dry days here in the UK. These days are ideal for getting the kids outside and letting them take part in certain activities. Climbing frames have long been favourite items of play equipment for kids and the latest ranges of outdoor climbing frames will provide them with plenty of action. It`s not just parks and recreation areas that have the climbing frames in either as plenty of parents buy them for their gardens. This means that the children can get the maximum amount of benefit out of them and they`ll be able to develop key skills such as balance, co-ordination or socialising as a result. Just watch a group of youngsters playing on one of the wooden outdoor climbing frames and you`ll see what fun items they can be. Some of the frames come with tunnels and slides attached whilst others have cargo nets or wooden structures attached to the top of them. If we had the room in our garden I`d be tempted to buy one of the outdoor climbing frames for our home and let my two girls climb on it whenever they could. Alas, our garden is tiny so we have to make do with frequent trips to the frames at our local park.
I absolutely loved climbing when I was a kid and I`d spend many happy hours in the park climbing on the metal climbing frames. In the good old days the frames tended to be metal and they didn`t have nice soft landing areas like they do today. Metal frames have gradually faded away and now wooden climbing frames tend to be all the rage. Not only do they look better they are kinder to the environment and kids tend to love them just as much as I used to do. If you have the room in your garden you can order one of the wooden climbing frames and they`ll provide your kids with hours of fun. They can get all of their mates around for a play and they`ll all have plenty of room. Some of the frames have little wooden structures on the top of them that can become a secret base. On other wooden climbing frames tunnel slides are attached so the kids can make a quick getaway. It`s important for children to develop certain skills whilst they are young such as socialising skills or co-ordination and balance. Have wooden climbing fames fitted and they will help these skills to develop over a period of time.
